About Maize Pangenome Database

Project Overview

The Maize Pangenome Database is a comprehensive genomic resource led by the Maize Genomic Breeding Team of Yazhou Bay National Laboratory, in collaboration with the Biotechnology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Center of Genomics and Bioinformatics at the College of Agriculture, South China Agricultural University. The database is developed and maintained by the Center of Genomics and Bioinformatics, South China Agricultural University. The resource integrates high-quality genome assemblies of 150 representative maize inbred lines and presents the pangenome-centric, user-friendly portal for querying structural variations, allelic relationships, and multi-tissue expression profiles, providing essential data support for maize genomics research, genetic improvement, and molecular breeding.
