About the Database
Our Mission: To accelerate maize research and breeding by providing a centralized, high-quality pangenome resource for the scientific community.

The Maize Pangenome Database is a comprehensive genomic resource led by the Maize Genomic Breeding Team of Yazhou Bay National Laboratory, in collaboration with the Biotechnology Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Center of Genomics and Bioinformatics at College of Agriculture, South China Agricultural University. The database integrates high-quality genome assemblies of 150 representative maize inbred lines and provides a user-friendly portal for querying structural variations, allelic relationships, and multi-tissue expression profiles, delivering essential data support for maize genomics research, genetic improvement, and molecular breeding.
